Ballerina
Original painting — Anaïs Eck
She moves through space as one crosses a threshold.
One foot grounded, the other already elsewhere.
The body rises, held by an invisible thread
between balance and vertigo.
The dress unfolds, light, almost unreal,
as if movement itself were shaping the fabric.
The dance does not seek to please—
it asserts a presence, an axis, a necessity.
The ballerina does not escape the frame.
She passes through it.
And in that crossing,
she leaves a trace—
that of a moment, precise and fully embodied.
